Your Cup. Your Ritual.
Learn how to prepare MAMA KUNA cacao and create your own way to enjoy the experience.
Preparing cacao does not have to be complicated.
Whether you choose our traditionally grated Cacao Powder or our handcrafted Cacao Balls, the process is simple.
Warm.
Mix.
Take a moment.
Enjoy.
The preparation is part of the experience.
Start With Your Cacao
Two Formats. One Cacao Experience.
CACAO POWDER
Traditionally grated cacao paste, created for a simple and convenient preparation.
Measure your cacao according to your preference and prepare it directly in your cup or pot.
CACAO BALLS
Hand shaped cacao portions, each approximately 14 g.
One ball makes it simple to prepare a consistent cup while allowing the preparation itself to become part of your ritual.
Choose your format. Make it your own.
The Classic Cup
What You Need
1 serving of MAMA KUNA cacao
Approximately 14 g
250 ml warm water or milk
You can use dairy milk or your favorite plant based milk.
A cup
And a few minutes for yourself.
Step 1
Warm Your Liquid
Heat approximately 250 ml of water or milk until warm.
Avoid bringing it to a boil.
The goal is a warm, enjoyable temperature that allows the cacao to melt smoothly.
Step 2
Add Your Cacao
For Cacao Balls, add one approximately 14 g ball.
For Cacao Powder, measure approximately 14 g.
Add the cacao to your warm liquid.
Step 3
Stir Until Smooth
Mix gently until the cacao has completely melted and the texture becomes smooth.
For a more traditional preparation, use a molinillo to create a light layer of foam.
You can also use a milk frother, blender or mixer for a smoother and faster preparation.
Take your time with it.
Step 4
Make It Yours
MAMA KUNA cacao is naturally unsweetened.
Enjoy it as it is or personalize your cup according to your taste.
You can add:
Honey
Panela
Stevia
Milk
Or enjoy the pure character of the cacao on its own.
Your Daily Cup
Simple Enough for Every Day
Not every cacao moment needs to be elaborate.
Prepare your cup in the morning.
Enjoy it during an afternoon pause.
Share it with someone.
Or simply take a few minutes for yourself.
The ritual can be as simple as making a warm cup and being present for it.
Make space for the moment.
A More Intentional Ritual
When Preparation Becomes Part of the Experience
For a slower cacao experience, give yourself more time.
Prepare your cacao by hand.
Use a molinillo.
Notice the aroma as it warms.
Take a moment before your first sip.
You can pair your cacao with journaling, meditation, reading, reflection or simply quiet time.
There is no prescribed ritual.
Your moment. Your intention. Your way.
